Telč Chateau - the gem of the Moravian Renaissance architecture was built by a reconstruction from a former Gothic castle in the middle of the 16th. century. Interiors and exteriors present a unique example of the Renaissance Art in the Czech Republic and they are works by the Italian masters. The chateau is completed with an ornamental garden with cut bushes and a vast natural landscape park with a Classicist greenhouse; together with the square and the Renaissance houses, the chateau is listed in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Register.

The Telc Chateau ranks among the gems of Moravian Renaissance architecture. Its attractiveness is enhanced by the very sensitive approach of the owners to its heritage, thus the original interiors have been preserved in very good condition. Many of them are representative examples of the influence of Italian art on our territory and of its variations in the area north of the Alps.
