Description:

The Moravian Art Gallery is the second largest establishment of its kind in the Czech Republic. Its pernament exhibitions are located in three notable buildings which also serve as venues for temporary exhibitions. The Pražák Palace - the collection and pernament exhibition of 20th-century Czech Art The Museum of Applied Arts - this former classical museum has been converted into a centre of applied arts which takes pride of place among Brno´s cultural instructions. The Governor´s Palace - this remakable Baroque building houses a newly opened exhibition entitled Medusa´s look - Six Centuries of European Art. The name of the exhibition was taken from the cardinal work of P. P. Rubens. Visitors will find there treasures of German, Austrian, Dutch, Bohemian and Moravian art ranging from the Gothic style to the 19th century.
