Description:
Kutná hora used to be the treasure of the Czech Kingdom and the main pillar of the Power of Czech rulers. During the reign of king Václav II. the only mint in the country used to operate there. The symbol of the town is the late Gothic Church of St. Barbora. The Cathedral of the Virgin Mary in the nearby Sedlc, rebuilt at the beginning of the 18th. century in the Baroque Gothic style, is listed in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Register.
