Only few steps away from the Hluboká nad Vltavou chateau we can find the hunting lodge Ohrada – and right beside it there is the ZOO Park of Ohrada, entirely specialized in the European fauna. Visitors can get to know small and middle sized animal species which are, either for their common look or their rarity, rarely breeded in other ZOOs in the Czech Republic. Such animals are for example squirrels, jays, magpies, rabbits, partridges or otters. In the ZOO complex there is also a ZOO for kids with the run of dwarfish Holland goats.
